Ed Washington is the Managing Director for WW Partners, LLC. Ed began his corporate career in banking after graduating from college with a degree in accounting and worked for financial institutions in Houston, Texas and Jacksonville, Florida. It was during his lending career that Ed acquired an interest in real estate development and he now has more than 30 years of experience in this industry. Ed was employed with Liberty Property Trust, an $8.5 billion publically traded real estate investment trust (REIT), where he oversaw the Jacksonville, Florida division. He was responsible for $400 million in assets comprising more than 4 million square feet of office and industrial space. Later, Ed was engaged by Gate Petroleum Company, a locally owned, privately-held conglomerate, to renovate a 50-year-old, 28-story high-rise (Riverplace Tower f/k/a the Gulf Life building) in downtown Jacksonville. This renovation was a multi-year, $30 million project that was completed ahead of schedule and significantly under budget. Upon completion of this project he maintained a position of Asset Manager for Riverplace Tower until it was sold. Ed is also a Florida certified contractor and a Florida licensed real estate broker.
